With peaking curiosity, you wandered down a dark, never ending, corridor. There were many doors on either side of you and every time you tried at a door, it was locked. Ripped wall paper was plastered to the crumbling walls, and just ahead of you, you saw a precarious hanging light that omitted an eerie orange glow.
As you walked, the sound of your feet contacting the ground resounded down the long corridor, and ricocheted back into your ears. The sound invaded them, and even though you had unconsciously ceased your walk, the sound still played in your ears. In a meagre attempt to silence the noise, you clapped your hands

It was a cold and snowy Friday evening in the middle of January and you had just concluded a busy day of work in the office. You worked as an accountant in the city of Stockholm, and the hours were long and tedious. At the end of the week, all of your colleagues would go down to the bar and down a few beers in celebration of the weekend but you did not. You worked alone, which meant no friends at the office, no enjoyment at the end of the week, and 100% completed, focused and exceptional work. Yes, it pained you to see all of your co-workers having fun together, but you sucked it up, and carried on

Sitting in your parked, old car with its scratched red paintwork and faulty doors that could fall off of their hinges at any point, you check your mobile phone for the text that your best friend, Alfred F. Jones, had sent you earlier that morning.
He had asked you to meet in front of the local coffee shop at nine, in the morning, claiming that he had something 'totally AWESOME' to show you.
To be honest, you weren't particularly thrilled about being woken up early in the morning to see something that was probably just a new poster for an alien movie.
You had arrived early, so, to kill some time, you gazed out
